The Thornfield Police Department (TPD) is a full-service law enforcement agency. Since our founding in 1952, we have grown alongside this community, evolving from a two-man constable office to a modern department utilizing the latest in public safety technology.

Our History

Originally established to patrol the citrus groves and expanding residential districts of north-central Florida, the TPD has remained a cornerstone of stability for over five decades. Under the leadership of Chief Robert Williams, we continue to prioritize community-oriented policing and resident safety.
